Set and Costume for Two Gentlemen of Verona by William Shakespeare performed by the BA Acting Class of 2022, at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama directed by Dugald Bruce-Lockheart.

The Idea for the design was to create a neutral, timeless and unidentifiable space where the story could be told as if it were being told by outlaws in the play. This then allowed the ensemble bodies to encapsulate the space a create a frame of unity which was known as the “Band of Masks” represented by white masks, who told the story as if it were their own.
